MagMAX™ Express磁珠處理儀所采用的操作原理是反向磁珠處理（MPP）技術(shù)。與外置磁鐵方法相反，無需轉(zhuǎn)移液體，而是將磁珠從微孔轉(zhuǎn)移到包含特殊試劑的微孔中。磁珠的轉(zhuǎn)移借助于表面套上一次性特殊設(shè)計(jì)的塑料磁頭套的磁力棒。儀器無需任何吸取或抽氣部件或裝置即可工作。MagMAX™24機(jī)身小巧，節(jié)省空間，操作簡(jiǎn)便，通量適中。
